When VAMOS! first began, one of the biggest needs people asked us to help with was day care. And so a VAMOS! day care center in this colonia has been one of our longest running projects, beginning in 1995. These days our building is bustling with activity all day long! Five days a week we have a dedicated pre-school/day care in the mornings and three days a week in the afternoon we have our after school program for mothers and all ages of children. Here we provide all of our services: meals, educations from pre-school to 8th grade, music and computer classes and medical services as well as programs for women.
